Dave Hansen Whitewater has teamed up with Jackson Hole Pack Trips and Trail Rides to offer you a day full of sights and adventure in the Jackson Hole wilderness. Paddle your way through the Snake River Canyon on our morning whitewater, scenic or combo trip and then hop on a saddle and head into the backcountry with Jackson Hole Pack Trips and Trail Rides. During your horseback riding adventure, you will travel through the beautiful terrain of The Wind River Range and Hoback Canyon and enjoy stunning views of the Tetons.
Things to know about this package:
2 hour trail ride
The package can be split between two days, although many enjoy a morning ride and an afternoon river trip.
There are options for other trip types. Please feel free to contact Jackson Hole Pack Trips and Traill Rides with any questions @866-505-7007.
Jackson Hole Pack Trips and Trail Rides does not provide transportation to the trailhead. Dave Hansen River Trips provides shuttle service to the river from our shop at 265 W. Broadway in Jackson and our south office, Snake River Park KOA. Our shuttle does not drive to Jackson Hole Pack Trip and Trail Rides, but their location is only a 10-minute drive from our south office at the KOA. If you're going to do a river ride and a trail ride on the same day, it is recommended that you leave your car at our south office where our shuttle will pick you up and drop you off at the end of the trip, and then you can drive to your horseback ride with Jackson Hole Pack Trips and Trail Rides.

Standard Raft Notes
Everybody's Happy: All types of rafters can ride in the standard boat. As a paddle leader, you can sit in front and meet the waves head-on; or you can sit toward the back, next to the guide, and enjoy the canyon scenery and not get quite so wet.
Kids' Note: This is a great raft for kids as they have two fun options: 1) Sit in back, yelling out paddle commands, and laughing as the water dumps on the people in front, or 2) Sit in the front, taking on the waves as the "hood ornament" (a great picture for the Christmas card!). With either option the kids have the most secure spot in the raft as they are flanked on each side with adult paddlers.
