Dave Hansen pioneered the first Jackson Hole commercial whitewater rafting operation on the Snake River in 1967, naming the two biggest waves on the river, the Lunch Counter and the Big Kahuna. For four decades, Dave Hansen Whitewater has conducted scenic and whitewater float trips on Wyoming’s Snake River and this experience enables us to give you one of the safest trips on the river.

- Whitewater Trips in an 8-man raft or Standard raft
- A Combo Scenic and Whitewater Trip that is Continuous (no bus ride between the scenic and whitewater sections)

We pride ourselves on having the most hard working and experienced guides in the valley and your safety is always their top concern. Our guides are not simply Snake River guides, but are river enthusiasts with experienced gained from rafting thousands of miles of river throughout the United States. All of our guides have CPR and First Aid certification, and many have earned their advanced wilderness and river safety certifications.
