River Trip and Horseback Riding Package
Dave Hansen Whitewater has teamed up with Jackson Hole Pack Trips and Trail Rides to offer you a day full of sights and adventure in the Jackson Hole wilderness.
Paddle your way through the Snake River Canyon on our morning whitewater, scenic or combo trip and then hop on a saddle and head into the backcountry with Jackson Hole Pack Trips and Trail Rides. During your horseback riding adventure, you will be relaxing as you travel through varying terrain, taking in sites of the Tetons as your guide points out to you the wild flowers and wildlife of the area.
Horseback Riding Portion Includes
- 2 hour Trail Ride

Things to know about the trips
- Jackson Hole Pack Trips and Trail Rides does not provide transportation to the trailhead. Dave Hansen Whitewater provides shuttle service to the river from our shop at 435 N Cache street in Jackson and our office at Hoback Junction. Our shuttle does not drive to Jackson Hole Pack Trip and Trail Rides, but their location is only a 10 minute drive from our office at Hoback Junction. If you're going to do a river ride and a trail ride on the same day, it is recommended that you leave your car at our office at Hoback Junction where our shuttle will pick you up and drop you off at the end of the trip and then you can drive to your horseback ride with Jackson Hole Pack Trips and Trail Rides.
- The horseback and float trip can be on separate days if scheduling requires it. It is also possible to do a morning ride and an afternoon river trip.
- There is a seven day cancellation policy for this package
- Prices for raft trips are with standard boat but 8-man boats are also available. Please call for more information.
