Rain or shine, a trip with Dave Hansen Whitewater is a guaranteed good time! Here’s what to expect on your upcoming Snake River adventure.

Whitewater Trips

Meet Up Location Options

Leaving from Jackson

3.5 hours door-to door, 1.5 hours on the river

Arrive

Walk through our doors 30 minutes prior to departure time. Check-in, high-five the office staff, use the restroom, get outfitted in a stylin’ but optional wetsuit, fill water bottles, and chill on the deck until game time. Feel free to snap pictures in your snazzy gear with the bears!

Load Bus

We may leave earlier than the scheduled departure if everyone is ready to rock. Feel free to bring anything on the bus you think you might need (change of clothes, towels, snacks, etc.) except alcohol.

Drive

30 min drive south of Jackson into the stunning Snake River Canyon. The put-in is called “West Table”.

Staging

15-20 min to meet guide, cinch life vests, grab paddles, get pumped up and head down to the river.

River Time!

Float 8 miles or roughly 1 hr 30 minutes on the river. Get wet, paddle hard, jump in, ride the bull, join the Snake River Swim Team. Please NOTE: time on river fluctuates based on river flow, wind, etc.

Post Trip Hype

Finish at Sheep Gulch take-out. Return paddles, life vests, change out of wetsuits, and bask in the glory of Lunch Counter and Big Kahuna.

Drive Home

40 min drive back to the office in Jackson. Please NOTE: time may fluctuate based on construction of Highway 89.

Scenic Trips

Leaving from Jackson

Arrive

Walk through our doors 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. Check in, fill your water bottle, apply sunscreen, and kick back on the deck.

Load Bus

Feel free to bring anything onto the bus you think you might need except alcohol.

Drive

15 minute drive to Wilson Boat Ramp.

Staging

15 minutes to get life jackets on, meet your guide, and get into your raft.

River Time!

Float 2 hrs/2 hrs 15 min on the river. Please note: trips may fluctuate based on river flows, wind, eagle sitings etc.

Drive Home

15 minute bus ride back to office in Jackson. Note: drive times may fluctuate based on construction.
